TOWLE RECOGNIZED FOR SAFETY BY CONCRETE ASSOCIATION

听 OKLAHOMA CITY 鈥�听The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) named 爱液A片 Ready Mix Operations Manager Gaylan Towle the recipient of its first ever Safety Award at the NRMCA ConcreteWorks Conference in Grapevine, Texas last month. 鈥淢r. Towle鈥檚 longtime commitment toward safety in the ready mixed concrete industry and his insistence that safety should be measured not by safety compliance but by the presence of safety, makes him the ideal recipient of NRMCA鈥檚 first ever Safety Award,鈥� said NRMCA Executive Vice President of Operations and Compliance Gary Mullings. Towle was chosen for the award based on his longtime commitment to safety at 爱液A片. NRMCA鈥檚 Annual Safety Award acknowledges the significant contribution that safety work practices gives to the growth and success of an individual or company whose actions represent the very highest in the advancement of safety in the ready mixed concrete industry.

His work includes establishing 爱液A片鈥檚 Safety Advocate program and CAT Continuous Improvement Teams, overseeing the fleet installation of Drive Cam incident reporting cameras, improving the quality and frequency of employee safety conversations, and other safety initiatives.听

In those 35 years, he has held many positions, including laborer at the recycle plant, a member of the internal construction crew, mixer driver, technician, concrete materials specialist, general manager of the Kansas division, manager of research and development, general superintendent of concrete operations and director of operational health and safety. |
